You want to spend as little time in MakeHuman as possible - just make your basic mesh and get out. Sounds like I have to find a Python script in my Blender folder, open it in a text editor, change the filepath in the script, resave it, then try importing again?īasically, the program does some great stuff, but it’s a chore to use. I think it’s great that it gives you a skeleton too! But I think it should be an optional setting you can check when exporting, not something mandatory.įurthermore, I don’t get how to import into Blender. You have to manually type your save and load filepaths (without even a blinking cursor or anything!) so you can’t see your list of files, and you can easily save over something you don’t mean to! (That’s right - it doesn’t even prompt you.) …and yet, the interface is barely useable and certain buttons are missing. ![]() MakeHuman is an odd little program in the sense that, a select few people have obviously put quite a lot of work into calculating how the variables will affect the mesh shape, how the rig will move, etc. ![]()
